The Landless People’s Movement and the official opposition have all teamed up on defence minister Rear Admiral Peter Vilho for his remarks this week which attacked the private sector.

The minister poured vitriol on those whom he said to control 60% of the economy accusing them of being unpatriotic for advancing selfish economic interest at a time the country is being tormented by a global pandemic.
He also said these persons have run their businesses not on the basis of competence, but as a result of benefiting from the brutal exploitation of the Namibian people.
