The agriculture minister, Calle Schlettwein, is currently in charge of the ministry of works, a position he is temporarily holding in place for minister John Mutorwa.

Mutorwa has been out of the picture for quite a number of months.
Schlettwein has however indicated that the minister is currently on sick leave, suffered a relapse after he had recovered from Covid-19.

“Honorable Mutorwa, unfortunately, had a very serious Covid-19 attack. He was in hospital, in Intensive Care for a long time. He then recovered, but he had a relapse and he had to go back into Intensive Care.”

”But we are very lucky, he is now out, he is recovering at home and he has been booked off for some time. And it depends how fast the recovery is and he will back in office, we hope,” he said
