A boy aged 12 hanged himself at Okahandja on Saturday after he had argued with her sister.

The police said left the house after the issue had been resolved and went outside.

Later, the police further said the boy was found hanging with a rope under a tree in the yard.

According to the police, the family only became aware of it when a passer-by called them.

Kunovawa Mueliulatchi (31) from Grootfontein died after he was stabbed on Saturday at about 1h50.

The police said Mueliulatchi was stabbed with an unknown object by a male suspect. His body was found opposite the Engen Filling Station, on the left side of his chest.

The police arrested a 37-year-old Zimbabwean man suspected to have raped a 24-year-old woman. The incident happened on Friday around 02h00 at Lyambai Location, Zambezi region.

Another case of rape at Katima Mulilo happened on Friday at about 00:00 at Butterfly, where an unknown suspect sodomised a 24-year-old man.

Police also arrested an Angolan man aged 23 who is said to have raped an 18-year-old woman at Omundaungilo on Friday during the night in the victim’s room at Oshikunde village. The police said the suspect would appear in court on Monday.

Yet another rape case happened at Hoachanas on Thursday where a 21-year-old man raped a 14-year-old.

The police said the suspect entered the room through a window.

The suspect was arrested.

Police arrested an Angolan man (34) who hit another Angolan (32) with a stick in Opuwo on Friday at Okahozu village.

According to the police, the men were drinking tombo with others when they started fighting. The 34-year-old then picked a stick which he used to strike the other man.

The police said the victim sustained an open wound and lost a lot of blood.

Another case of attempted murder occurred at Keetmanshoop on Saturday at about 01h00 in the Kronlein location when a group of about 12 men approached and robbed a victim and his friend while on their way home.

The police said the victim and his friends chased and caught the suspect who had robbed him of his Huawei Y9 cell phone.

While they were wrestling, the suspect stabbed the victim on the back while another suspect also stabbed the victim on the thigh and neck.

The victim fell to the ground and was taken to the hospital, where he was admitted in a critical but stable condition.

At Grootfontein on Saturday evening at the farm Otjirukaku on B8 road, a farmer shot a 23-year-old man he found hunting with his friend.

Police said the injured man was taken to Grootfontein State Hospital for medical attention. His condition is stable.
