1. The manager of annuities at Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF), Ignatius Manyando Manyando, says that the amount of money lost through fraudulent activities on payments made to beneficiaries is likely to increase.
In a meantime, Anti-corruption commission (ACC) said it will not pursue the case of fraud at GIPF. This was said by ACC’s director general Paulus Noa in an interview with EagleFM.

2. Health executive director Ben Nangombe says the ministry received various reports across the country indicating that there might be an outbreak of swine flu.

3. Pio Luck Investment CC has accused the Windhoek Show Society of denying them the opportunity to be vendors at the Windhoek Show Grounds fair.
The Windhoek grounds show this year took place on 23 September and concluded on 01 October.
