1. The Khomas region tops the list when it comes to inflation rates for the month of December 2022, according to Alex Shimuafeni, Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) statistician general and chief executive officer.

2. More than 200 workers of the Cash and Carry retail stores in Rundu, who were dismissed by their employer in December, together with a Rundu community concerned group, today held a demonstration where they handed over their petition to the Kavango East Regional Governor, Bonifatius Wakudumo.

3. The Hardap region received an integrated food production project which is anticipated to span over 100 hectares, with the pilot phase beginning on an initial 5 hectares. The project is expected to shore up agricultural production, boost local economy and create a long-term pathway for self-sufficiency.

4. Standard Bank handed over a cheque of N$400 000 to the Never Walk Alone project.
