NAMIBIA and South Africa have enhanced their bilateral relations by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Windhoek, focusing on cooperation in higher education and training. This significant MoU was formalised during the third Namibia-South Africa Bi-National Commission (BNC).
Both nations have jointly decided to establish a financial facility aimed at supporting industrial and productive development initiatives, as well as promoting the development of cross-border value chains within key sectors of their respective economies.
In a joint communique issued by both countries, it was emphasised that “The Heads of State welcomed the signing of the MoU on Cooperation in the Field of Higher Education and Training.”
