The Mukwe Constituency Councillor, Damian Maghambayi, believes that a proposed sugarcane farming project in the Kavango East region will significantly boost employment opportunities in the region and benefit Namibia as a whole.
This call comes from farmers in northeastern Namibia who are urging the government to provide support for expanded sugarcane cultivation, which is primarily used for sugar production.
