Rundu Constituency Councillor Paulus Mbangu has called for reforms in the management of green schemes, urging that managers be granted full authority to oversee operations and facilitate food security and socio-economic development.
Mbangu, during an engagement with the Vice President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah and farm managers in the region highlighted the challenges faced by the Uvhungu-vhungu green scheme.
He also emphasised the necessity of a budget of N$49 million to ensure that green schemes can function at their maximum capacity.
