The African Peer Review (APR) Mechanisms Namibia Country Review 2022 Report, released earlier this year, has underscored social economic conditions in Namibia, particularly issues concerning resource distribution and inequality, as potential sources of conflict.

Highlighted as ticking time bombs in the report are frustrations surrounding land reform, including challenges in accessing agricultural land and housing.

Additionally, the country grapples with high levels of youth unemployment, alongside rising perceptions of ethnicity, tribalism, and regionalism in service delivery and resource access.
