SWAPO welcomes electoral tribunal’s judgement
Swapo communications chief Hilma Nicanor has welcomed the electoral tribunal’s judgement that has effectively confirmed the use of EVMs in the elections slated for Wednesday.
Nicanor told the media that the fact that the party shunned to use EVMs at its 2017 congress did not mean the party had no confidence in them.
“Swapo is a party that is contesting in these two elections and what ECN is bringing in as a mode of elections we are supporting that. We affirm our position to be ready,” she said.
