The Namibian Rugby Union season came to a thrilling close on Saturday at the Hage Geingob Stadium, with finals in the women’s, reserve, and premier leagues determining the champions in each division.

 

The day kicked off with the Women’s League Final, where defending champions and undefeated Unam Steenbokkies faced off against the Wanderers Bokkies. The Unam side secured their 10th win of the season in dominant fashion, beating Wanderers 43 – 7.

 

The result was never in doubt as the Steenbokkies built a commanding 24 – 0 lead early in the second half. With this victory, the Steenbokkies took home N$15,000 in prize money for winning the league.
