Namibia hosted the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) Qualifiers for the Confederation of African Football (CAF) African Schools Championship at Jan Wilken Stadium in Walvis Bay over the weekend.

The tournament, aimed at fostering youth football development, featured U15 boys’ and girls’ teams from Namibia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Angola, Eswatini, Lesotho, and South Africa.

Launched by CAF three years ago, the African Schools Championship is a developmental initiative designed to nurture football talent across the continent.
