Residents of Choto and nearby areas in Katima Mulilo’s informal settlements are grappling with inaccessible streets following recent heavy rains in the region.
The flooding has disrupted daily activities and posed safety risks, leaving many residents frustrated.
“The Town council must fix their roads, we are tired of walking in the water every year,” an affected resident said on Eagle FM’s Sizuma Salico, a current affairs programme and talk show.
Another resident highlighted the dangers of navigating flooded streets.
