As Namibian pupils and parents stand on the edge of suspense, awaiting the results of the Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary and Advanced Subsidiary Levels (NSSCO and NSSCAS) national examinations, expectations and concerns linger.
The Ministry of Education, Arts, and Culture reported significant progress in marking and data processing, with results scheduled to be released today.
In 2023, 85,143 sat for the 2023 Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary (NSSCO) and Advanced Subsidiary Level (AS) examinations.
Executive Director Sanet Steenkamp urged parents to support their children during this critical time, emphasising the need for continuous investment in both financial resources and time throughout the academic year.
“We want the parents to please continue to support the learners. It is important to understand that we need to invest right through the year, not just financial resources but our time as parents,” she said.
