The International University of Management (IUM) plans to invest in educational infrastructure, with proposals for the construction of a Research, Training, and Conference Centre in Swakopmund on the coast, and the development of a new campus in Enhana in the north.
These plans were announced by David Namwandi, Chairman of the university’s governing council, during the official opening of IUM’s academic year.
Namwandi highlighted that the Swakopmund research centre will provide opportunities for youth, researchers, and trainers, while the Enhana campus aims to accommodate the growing population of the northern Ohangwena region and neighbouring Angola.
