The Katuka Mentorship Programme inaugurated its 2024 training session, promising to impart skills from young female entrepreneurs to eager participants.
Hayley Allen, Head of Strategic Communication at Bank Windhoek, emphasised the program’s role as a bridge for young women and their aspirations to contribute meaningfully to Namibia’s future.
“The essence of what you are about to experience is authenticity. It is about building trust between mentor and mentee, understanding what each of you needs to move forward, and making an impact as Namibian women in business,” she stated.
Desere Lundon-Muller, organiser of the Economist Businesswoman Projects, praised the program for its positive impact on business and professional women, urging participants to remain flexible, committed, and in constant communication with each other.
