Shakashi Primary School in Kavango East, which has existed for 45 years, has never had adequate classrooms or proper infrastructure.

Located about 60 km from Divundu in the rural area of Mukwe Constituency, the school struggles with a single teacher and only 23 learners, offering education from Grades 1 to 2.

The limited grades make it challenging for students to continue their education, as the nearest school with Grade 3 is 10 km away.

One parent expressed concern, stating that his children had to drop out due to the lack of further schooling options in the area.
