Namibia’s National Petroleum Corporation (Namcor) has opened a theft case regarding the alleged theft of fuel estimated at a value of N$1 million.
Namcor revealed this in a media statement issued on Wednesday, in which the company disclosed that the alleged fuel theft took place at the National Oil Storage Facility (NOSF) in Walvis Bay.
“Last week, Namcor proceeded with opening a case of theft with the Walvis Bay Police and is collaborating closely with the regional law enforcement authorities to resolve this matter,” the statement read.
