Uranium exploration company Madison Metals has recently unveiled promising assay results, indicating an average uranium oxide (U3O8), also known as yellowcake, content of 2.78% at Trench 6 in the Erongo region.

This discovery follows closely on the heels of the company’s previous announcement regarding the uncovering of high-grade uranium mineralisation at their Khan site, including a surface sample displaying 8.47% uranium ore concentrate (U3O8).

According to the company’s report, the results span a distance of over 600 metres from Trench 1 (KM5TR001) northeast to Trench 6, with an average grade of 0.47% U3O8 across the six trenches.
