The Namibia Mineworkers Investment Holdings Company (NAM-MIC), through its Just Transition Trust (JTT) Namibia Limited, has reached a significant milestone by issuing 655,937 shares to 522 shareholders.

This announcement was made during the transition of JTT to Just Transition Investment, which now operates as a public company.

Joshua Kaitungwa, CEO of NAM-MIC, highlighted the company’s success in job creation, noting that it has generated over 369 sustainable jobs.

Of these, 27% are directly attributable to the company’s initiatives, while 73% represent indirect contributions.

“This remarkable achievement represents more than just numbers; it symbolises the trust and faith our members have placed in this initiative,” Kaitungwa stated.
