Namibia exported 60,519 hectolitres (six million litres)of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in June 2024, with 98% of these exports destined for African markets, primarily South Africa, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, and Tanzania.

According to the Beverage Sectoral Report released by the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA), beer constituted the majority of the beverages exported.

This shift in trade dynamics highlights a growing focus on intra-African trade, as Namibia traditionally exports commodities such as minerals and beef to European and Asian markets.
