Health minister Dr Kalumbi Shangula said Namibia now has 13 confirmed COVID-19 cases.

Addressing the nation from State House on Wednesday in Windhoek, Dr Shanguka said there were 306 suspected.

Of these cases, he said, 150 were tested at the Namibia Institute of Pathology and 156 were sent to Pathcare and forwarded to South Africa.

According to Dr Shangula, the third confirmed case – the German man – has recovered and would be going back to his country.
