The chief executive officer of the National Commission on Research Science and Technology (NCRST), Anicia Peters, has expressed concerns over the inadequate laboratory facilities in Namibian academic institutions, which she believes are stalling the country’s research progress.
Speaking at a fundraising event for the Namibia Institute of Pathology (NIP) on Friday, Peters highlighted that the lack of up-to-standard laboratories is preventing the country from conducting research that meets international standards, particularly in fields like science, technology, and medicine.
