NSA’s Chief Executive Officer, Alex Shimuafeni noted that the latest export figures demonstrated an improvement compared to the figure recorded during the same period in 2022.
In contrast, the total imports for the first eight months amounted to N$87,0 billion, reflecting a rise of N$3,2 billion compared to the corresponding period in 2022.
While the export trend is positive, it’s worth noting that Namibia’s export revenue dipped by 10.2% in August 2023, falling from N$8,2 billion in July to N$7,4 billion.
