Khomas Regional Governor, Laura Mcleod-Katjirua, has made a fervent appeal to the Ministry of Agriculture, Water, and Land Reform to address the land issues affecting the !Khomanin community.
The governor made this call during the ongoing Agriculture Annual Planning week in the capital city.
“Ensure that you acquire farms for the !Khomanin Traditional Authority and Khomas Region for possible allocation,” she asked.
McLeod-Katjirua stressed the importance of this action being undertaken through the Land Acquisition Committee to alleviate the pressing land demand in the region.
