Construction work on the road that links Nkurenkuru to Nepara in the Kavango West region kicked-off this week.
The road project valued at about N$30 million is intended to play a vital role in the region by connecting farming units to markets.
The ambitious project is divided into two phases.
The initial phase will encompass the construction of section A, spanning 10 kilometres, while phase two will cover the remaining 18 kilometres.
West Trading CC, the contracting company, aims to complete the project within 10 months. This developmental milestone aligns with the Road Authority (RA) and the Road Fund Administration’s (RFA) Low Volume Seal Strategy.
