The Deputy Director for Aquaculture and Inland Fisheries at the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources, John Hamukwaya, has encouraged Namibians to explore opportunities in the aquaculture industry.
Hamukwaya highlighted that the government has initiated nine projects across the Zambezi, Omaheke, Hardap, Omusati, and Oshana regions to guide and train residents on fish farming.
These projects focus on Tilapia and Catfish farming, offering training at affordable rates.
