Powercom has committed to investing approximately N$80 million over the next two financial years to construct 50 new network towers across Namibia.

This announcement was made by CEO Beatus Amadhila during the groundbreaking ceremony for a new telecommunications tower in Mupini village, Kavango West region.

Amadhila emphasised that this initiative is part of Powercom’s ongoing efforts to address the shortage of about 500 towers as outlined in their current strategic plan.

The goal is to reduce the digital divide and promote economic growth by providing robust telecommunications infrastructure throughout Namibia.
