President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has directed the amendment of laws and instruments that hinder ministers from effectively assisting officials in executing their duties.
She made the announcement on Tuesday during the opening of the first cabinet meeting of the eighth administration. Over the weekend, Nandi-Ndaitwah appointed her cabinet members while also reducing its size.
The Head of State has instructed the Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare, in collaboration with the Minister of Justice Fillemon Wise Immanuel and the Attorney General Festus Mbandeka, to ensure these legal changes are completed by the end of May.
