Namibian Premier League football is back this weekend after going on a one-week hiatus in honour of the State burial of late President Hage Geingob.
The battle for the top spot in the Namibia Football Premier League has intensified, with Ongos FC set to host newly promoted Khomas Nampol FC in a six-pointer clash.
The hosts could knock their guests, league leaders Khomas Nampol FC off the top of the log with a win in their tie on Friday evening at the Independence Stadium in Windhoek.
A win for Khomas Nampol FC will increase their lead over rivals to 44 points before they go to Gobabis on Sunday to face the wounded Young African FC who fell 3-1 to Okahandja United two weeks ago.
