Over N$380k Invested to Organise the Ruacana Easter Tournament

The Ruacanna Town Council this year spent over N$380 000 to host its 11th Easter tournament in a bid to boost the town’s economic development and boost domestic tourism through sports.

Of that amount, close to N$150,000 was earmarked for prizes.

Simaneka Nendongo, spokesperson for the Ruacana Town Council, highlighted in an interview with Eagle FM that the tournament provides a platform for larger teams to scout young talent and nurture them for higher levels of competition.
