African leaders have paid tribute to Namibia’s founding President, Sam Nujoma, following his passing on Saturday in Windhoek, after three weeks of hospitalisation.

Nujoma, a towering figure in Namibia’s liberation struggle, has been widely recognised for his role in shaping Africa’s freedom movements.
