Namibia is set to upgrade its Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) centres from certificate programs to diploma-level education, aligning with industry demands and job creation goals.
This was announced by Minister of Higher Education, Itah Kandjii-Murangi, during the launch of a TVET task force she established in collaboration with the Namibia Training Authority (NTA).
The task force will oversee the transformation of state-owned Vocational Training Centres into comprehensive TVET institutions, enhancing the country’s education system and workforce development.
