The Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL) will once again expand into the Kenyan market, in a move aimed at broadening its market reach and growing its products on international markets.

This marks the third attempt NBL has established the presence of its brand in the Kenyan market after making its first presence in 2010 through the East African Breweries Limited (EABL). However, the agreement was terminated in 2016, leading to a temporary withdrawal from the market.

It then entered the market again in 2020 through its partnership with Kapari Ltd. as its distributor.

Windhoek beer has now partnered with Kenya Wine Agencies Limited (KWAL), a subsidiary of Heineken Beverages to be its distribution partner, signalling its renewed confidence in Kenya’s growing beer market.
