The City of Windhoek (CoW), Welwitchia University, and Namibia Airports Company (NAC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering a sustainable future through enhanced educational and urban infrastructure initiatives.
The agreement seeks to strengthen Windhoek’s role as a hub for social and economic growth, benefiting the wider Namibian community.
This MoU marks a milestone in cooperation, growth, and shared ambitions for the City of Windhoek.
Windhoek Mayor Queen Kamati highlighted that the partnership with Welwitchia University will open doors for collaboration in research, public health, social development, and skills training.
“We recognise that a strong education sector is essential to building a prosperous and inclusive society,” Kamati stated, emphasising CoW’s commitment to education, innovation, and community empowerment.
