This month marks the 11th anniversary of the Onandjokwe Medical Museum, a significant milestone in preserving the medical history of our nation.
Officially opened by H.E. Ambassador Anne Saloranta and Dr. Richard Kamwi, former Minister of Health and Social Services, this museum stands as a testament to our commitment to honour and learn from our medical heritage.
Established as the first museum of medical history in Namibia, the Onandjokwe Medical Museum received crucial financial assistance from the Embassy of Finland in Namibia and technical support from the Museum Association of Namibia, led by Dr. Jeremy Silvester.
