A. The Country Director for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Namibia, Dr. Eric Dziuban said it is heartbreaking that the Walvis Bay woman who tested positive for COVID-19 lost her baby while in an isolation facility.

B. Erongo Region Governor Neville Andre said that Walvis bay is in the current state because of the actions of the residents. EagleFM has reached out to Andre to explain what exactly he means by the residents of Walvis Bay’s actions have led to the current situation at the coastal town.

C. Hopewell Chin’ono arrested

Prominent journalist and fierce critic of Zimbabwean President Edson Mnagwagwa, Hopewell Chin’ono has been arrested. Chin’ono has been exposing corruption online in his country and was reportedly arrested while about to start a Facebook Live.
