On World Health Day, April 7, 2025, President Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah joined the global community in commemorating the day under the theme “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures.” In her address, the President reaffirmed Namibia’s commitment to improving maternal and newborn health, emphasizing the government’s dedication to reducing preventable deaths and enhancing healthcare for women and children.
