1. Multichoice Namibia launched a Partners Piracy breakfast (PAP) Thursday morning. Joseph Onesmus, Manager of Intellectual Property at Business and Intellectual Property Authority (BIPA) who said that piracy is illegal and it is a theft.
2. In other news, a cutting-edge laboratory is set at the NUST in collaboration with The Bank of Namibia, to equip students with hands-on skills in AI and robotics, preparing them for successful careers in an increasingly digital world.
3. 4. A high-level trade conference kicked off in Windhoek today, bringing together industry leaders, government officials and European Union representatives to discuss the future of sustainable trade between Namibia and the European Union.
4. Debmarine Namibia and the Namibia Football Association – NFA announced via a joint statement that the Debmarine Namibia Premiership will commence on 29 November 2024.
5. MTC Namibia officially launched the MTC Maris Cup, a new winner takes all knockout tournament that will feature all 16 Debmarine Namibia Premier League teams.
