University of Namibia distance students based in Opuwo in the Kunene region on Tuesday petitioned for the return of the state university regional centre which was permanently closed last year forcing students to travel to the Oshakati UNAM centre to access the varsity’s services.
The Minister of Higher Education, Technology and Innovation, Dr Itah Kandjii-Murangi has led a delegation of three (3), the heads of the Namibia Qualifications Aurhority (NQA), Namibia Council for Higher Education (NCHE) and Namibia Training Authority (NTA) to the Education World Forum in London.
