1. The Namibian Competition Commission (NaCC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT), has granted a 90-day extension to Ultimate Safaris Ltd. and three communal conservancies—amid an ongoing investigation into alleged anti-competitive practices. The extension follows concerns raised over exclusive agreements between the conservancies and Ultimate Safaris, which the Commission believes may stifle competition in the sector.
2. As the Easter weekend continues to grow in cultural and economic significance, it brings with it a noticeable shift in consumer behavior. 3. The DM of Sports Gino’s Balloti proposal to upgrade the Goreangab Soccer Field, currently owned by the City of Windhoek, into a fully developed sports stadium.
